7 Media Group · Network Performance · Aug 2025 – Aug 2026
83 of the highest-performing Harley-Davidson dealerships on our platform. 7.2 million messages.
Platform-verified numbers pulled from carrier-billed delivery records. Not estimates, not projections. Every figure below is auditable down to the individual send.
Retention · the number that actually matters
Marketing vendors are the first line item cut when a quarter goes sideways. These dealers have held the line through a pandemic, a freight crisis, and two rate cycles. Nobody renews a vendor for six years out of habit. They renew because the phone rings and bikes move.
How long dealers stay
15 years and counting
Four Harley-Davidson dealerships have run continuously on this platform since 2011. The longest has been with us 15 years and 6 months.
59% of the network has been on board five years or longer. In a category where the average agency relationship turns over in under three, that is the whole argument.
What dealers actually send
Message mix by riders reached
Based on a 457-message sample of live sends across all dealer accounts. Percentages reflect share of total recipients reached, not message count.
Events drive 45% of everything
Bike nights, cruise-ins, charity rides, customer appreciation days. Nearly half of all rider contact is an invitation to show up at the store. Text is how dealers fill a parking lot on a Saturday, and nothing else does it as fast.
Sales and F&I take 21%
Pre-owned tent events, trade-in offers, rebate and APR announcements, consignment calls. One in five rider contacts is a direct commercial offer, and it rides on the trust the event traffic built.
Service is only 4%
Service and parts is the highest-margin, most predictable revenue in the building, and it is the most under-messaged category on the platform. Dealers who push service reminders into this channel are working an open lane.
Picture messaging
Nearly half of every send is MMS
Share of sends across the 457-message sample. Harley is a visual product, and the send mix reflects it.
61% of dealers send picture messages
Fifty-one of the 83 dealerships run MMS, and 26 run both channels side by side, picking the format per campaign. This is not a niche feature on the platform. It is close to standard equipment.
You are selling a machine people look at
A pre-owned unit, an event flyer, a new model on the floor. These land harder with the photo attached. MMS is where the bike actually shows up in the rider’s hand, and dealers use it most on inventory and events.
Text for reach, picture for impact
SMS carries the wide announcements because it is inexpensive at full-file scale. MMS goes to the segments where a visual closes the loop. Twenty-six dealerships already run both, and that pairing is the pattern worth copying.

The Talon integration
7MG is the first mass-text platform with direct Talon DMS integration.
Talon runs the DMS at 540+ Harley-Davidson dealerships in the United States. API certification means customer records flow from your DMS into your messaging program without anyone exporting a spreadsheet, scrubbing a list, or re-keying a phone number.
The 83 dealerships above built these results on the manual version. The integration removes the step that made it slow.
